Shopping in Singapore. ( Oops this now out of sequence. - how did that happen ?)

I am not a shopper, as much as a window shopper, but I had one thing to get on my whirlwind day, in Singapore.

At Takishamya Department Store,I was going to leave the hop on hop off  bus in Orchard Road, to buy another Designer European belt, the same as before. 

Pretty easy you would think. well no. 

That building is huge, I mean HUGE, and in my haste I shot in the wrong door.

Well no problem, I would take the lift. 

Actually the lift  I was in went to even numbers only, I would have to go to the other tower!

But success,  there it was eventually leather belts for miles, the service was superb , the girl really was fantastic and I got a great deal. 

Would I like  it gift wrapped? Yes. I thought  "How nice!"

The system goes, that you take the docket to a counter for payment, which when done, you collect your purchase. She got started while I went to pay.and  then I returned to watch her precision wrapping with my parcel.

 Such care! She even pleated the paper, card making skills were dwarfed by her flair. 

Painstaking and beautiful.

So,my 23 year old son will get a graduation  present, beautifully wrapped in "Happy Fathers' Day" paper.! And when is Fathers Day ?? Clearly very soon in Singapore.
