France in the morning!

The shuttle o the airport was a bit of a reunion with other stop over people.
The couple from Whangamata, had to cancel the Rhine trip  as flooding in Central Europe is so bad. They were going o Budapest.I whiled away the 3 hours  with some Kayak makers from Palmerston. Whilst our flights ok off at midnight they were off to Belgium  en route to Moroco, and I to Paris. Both whopping big planes leaving at 5 to 12.
Anyway they indulged me with a bucket list tick off as I wanted to go on the Hard Rock Cafe.
It was a real thing in the late 70s.As we said travel throws you together and you feel you've known each other years.
No such luck with three seats o myself this time around. Itbwas a window seat however, on a much bigger plane. Beside me were two shy courteous Singaporean lads all excited and I thought. there sis no way I am going to interrupt these two to go to the loo or pace the floor to exercise my legs.
So I slept, interspersed by meals, and voila when we raised the window shades we were over Europe on a sunny morning, flying at 40000 feet but preparing to descend.
How easy was that? And it's terminal 1 a big circular building.
No trouble at the massive luggage conveyer with all those other hundreds of agitated travellers.
That colourful bag has been much admired and indeed it is kind of trendy. So eat your heart out Harriet, -Cath and Kim indeed!
We were half an hour early. better and better.
And then, there was Brittany with a sign. She had got up at 4.30.andbthis airport is way out in the country, so quite a ice for her!
I am now one of those special people who have had a special sign as I exited.
dad ah!
A true legend and my very own Kiwi translator for the while.
This is actually exciting, I feel like a kid in a sweet shop.
Perfect summer weather. Friday in Paris and the day has hardly started .
But it is truly summer weather, and it is hot.
