Rochester, Farmers shop and cooking at home.

What I am enjoying about being here, is just observing and catching up with English stuff whether it be products in a shop, cars on the road, or the changes. Like the International stations linking the UK to France, and actually skiing . Pat has looked into a trip to the Olympic stadium as I wanted to see it
its having work on it  'til lJuly
There is this nursery as big as several football fields with seedlings and young plants and hanging baskets. That is all it sells.
Rochester is famous because of Dickens so very touristy but nice with cobbled streets.
the Farm Shop is at Broadditch but pronounced Bradditch. e got some quality ingredients for a cook up tonight including asparagus, and icecream made on the farm
And so it was Asparagus with Hollandaise sauce made in a cute American copper double boiler saucepan.
Aged beef with new potatoes a the farm, snow peas and a Mesclun Salad with French Dressing and Strawberries coffee icecream and coffee meringues made by me.
al washed down with wine in good old Nigella Lawson  fashion.
So cool and tomorrow  I am off  to Devon via Ebsfleet and fast train to  Saint Pancrass and then Paddington. shall get in at 5.15.
Talked on the phone to  Sarah.
